A Course in Miracles
A Course in Miracles is Itself a Miracle. More than merely a re-iteration of the Perennial Wisdom, A Course in Miracles transforms the psyche of the reader through the simple exposure to Its cohesive thought system. This is accomplished by virtue of the (self-evident) Certainty that it is Wholly and Consistently TRUE. It IS, in fact and in experience, Truth Itself, made manifest as an ACT of Love on the part of One who has both Realized and Embodied Truth or Reality Itself. This One is (clearly) the historical figure, Jesus of Galilee.
From the Introduction:
"This is A Course in Miracles. It is a required course. Only the time (the emphasis is ours) you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite. This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way:

Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the Peace of God."

The (experiential) practice of the Course is Forgiveness, the context of which is Right Relationship with others. The Goal is Atonement, or Union with (one another and thus and thereby with) God.This is not a course in theoretical philosophy, nor is it concerned with precise terminology in connection with origins. It is concerned only with Atonement, or the correction of perception. The means of the Atonement is forgiveness. Source Temple is merely and finally an extension of the Context of Right Relationship, as it is an EFFECT or manifestation of One in Whom perception has been "corrected", that is, One in whom Union (with all others, and thereby with God) has been Accomplished.

The Master Teacher of A Course In Miracles
The Master Teacher is a Teacher of God through illumination of mind and body, the fulfillment of the mission of A Course In Miracles. He embodies a continuing union with the mind of Jesus of Nazareth, communicated through the Holy Spirit.
